E-Mobility Day at Bentonville Bike Fest
Join us for E-Mobility Day at Bentonville Bike Fest, a full day of conversations, community engagement, demonstrations, and programming focused on the future of mobility in Northwest Arkansas.
This year’s programming will bring together industry leaders, local advocates, bike brands, community organizations, families, and everyday riders to explore how e-bikes, active transportation infrastructure, and community partnerships are helping shape more connected and accessible communities.
The day will feature engaging panel discussions curated in collaboration with Arkansas Moves and Kenny Belaey’s Bike Fest team, including conversations around:
The growth of e-mobility and transportation choice
Local school bike trains and family riding culture
Safe routes and connected infrastructure
Community advocacy and engagement
Industry innovation and accessibility in cycling
Attendees will also have opportunities to connect with local bike shops, advocacy organizations, mobility partners, and national industry leaders including PeopleForBikes and Aventon.
Following another record-setting Bike to School Week across Bentonville and Bella Vista, E-Mobility Day continues the conversation around how communities can create safer, healthier, and more connected ways for people of all ages to move through everyday life.
Whether you are a daily rider, curious about e-bikes, interested in transportation innovation, or simply passionate about building stronger communities, E-Mobility Day offers something for everyone.

Southwest Bentonville Connectivity Ribbon Cutting Celebration
Join the City of Bentonville, community partners, and local residents as we celebrate the completion of two important active transportation projects expanding connectivity in Southwest Bentonville.
This shared ribbon cutting activation at Wildwood Park will celebrate the completion of the SW Bentonville Trail – Gator Road Connection and the SW Bright Road Sidepath South projects, together adding nearly one mile of new sidepath infrastructure that improves access to parks, schools, neighborhoods, and regional trail connections.
The SW Bentonville Trail – Gator Road Completion extends the larger Southwest Bentonville Trail network, helping advance a future loop connection around the Walmart distribution centers and eventually linking to the Little Osage Creek Trail and broader regional trail system.
The SW Bright Road Sidepath South project creates safer and more connected access between neighborhoods south of Regional Airport Boulevard and key community destinations including Willowbrook Elementary, Bright Field Middle School, Fulbright Junior High, Wildwood Park, Creekside Park, the Bentonville Community Center, and the Razorback Greenway.
These projects represent another step toward building a more connected Bentonville where residents of all ages and abilities have safer options to walk, bike, roll, and access everyday destinations.
Following the ribbon cutting, attendees are encouraged to explore the new connections, enjoy community activations, and celebrate the continued progress of the Connecting Bentonville vision.
Bike to School Week
Bike to School Week (April 28–May 1) brings families, schools, and community leaders together across Bentonville and Bella Vista to support safe, active ways for students to get to school. Throughout the week, students will walk and bike using neighborhood streets, trails, and greenways as part of their daily routines.
Whether you’re participating or simply sharing the road, this week is about creating a safe, supportive environment and building awareness around how people move through our communities every day.
Pack the Path Celebration – Bella Vista
The City of Bella Vista recently completed a new side path connection, and the community is invited to help “Pack the Path.”
Walking, biking, and rolling on a new trail helps naturally compact the surface while giving neighbors a chance to experience the new connection together.
Love Where You Live: Active Mobility Mini-Grant Applications Open
The Arkansas Moves Mini-Grant Program provides small, catalytic grants to support local efforts that advance safe, accessible, and connected walking, biking, and rolling options across Arkansas.
These grants are designed to help communities take meaningful steps forward—whether that’s hosting a community event, launching a pilot project, building local capacity, or supporting advocacy and education efforts that align with Arkansas Moves’ mission.
We believe local leaders know their communities best. This program exists to support those leaders with resources, visibility, and momentum.
At this time, Mini Grants are available exclusively for projects located in the Bentonville and Bella Vista communities. We anticipate expanding the program to additional communities in the future as Arkansas Moves continues to grow statewide.
